Three Elektrum Lietuva Solar Parks Connected to the Grid in Western Lithuania, with a Total Capacity of Nearly 180 MW

Elektrum Lietuva, an independent electricity producer and supplier, continues to expand its investment in solar energy. On October 2, the company inaugurated three new solar parks in the Klaipeda region, with a total installed capacity of 176 MW. Together, these parks will generate around 200,000 MWh of clean electricity annually, supplying power to more than 100,000 households across Lithuania.
Located in Kiskenai (91 MW), Dovilai (78 MW), and Smelte (7.15 MW), the parks cover a combined area of around 360 hectares — the equivalent of approximately 514 football fields. Their addition triples Elektrum Lietuva’s solar generation portfolio, marking a significant milestone in Lithuania’s transition toward greater energy independence.
Developed in collaboration between Elektrum Lietuva and its design partner Detra Solar, the project represents one of the largest renewable energy developments in the country. Bringing its engineering expertise and design excellence, Detra Solar helped ensure the parks’ efficient, high-performing, and future-ready infrastructure.
This collaboration further highlights Detra Solar’s ongoing role in enabling large-scale renewable developments across Europe and advancing the transition toward a more sustainable energy future.
