Detra Solar Receives “Excellence in Project Design” Award at Greentech Vilnius 2025

On October 29, Detra Solar participated in the Greentech Vilnius Forum 2025, the largest green economy event in the Baltics, gathering more than 600 participants, 110+ speakers, and 24 sessions dedicated to energy, transport, infrastructure, and sustainable finance. The event serves as an important platform for dialogue between business leaders, policymakers, and innovators driving the region’s green transition.
As part of the programme, our CEO Vytenis Koryzna took part in a panel discussion on “Energy Business Security”, joining other distinguished speakers including Edita Gudauskiene, Gediminas Juknius, Nemunas Biknius, and Ernestas Zvaigzdinas, moderated by Karolis Mirinavicius. The session explored how businesses and governments can work together to strengthen energy systems and ensure resilience in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
In the evening, the Solar Stars EU 2025 Awards by Greentech Vilnius recognised outstanding achievements across the solar industry. Detra Solar received the “Excellence in Project Design” award for its work on Elektrum Lietuva’s 176 MW solar portfolio in Western Lithuania – the country’s largest operational solar development to date.
The award acknowledges Detra Solar’s contribution to delivering terrain-adapted engineering, non-standard mounting solutions, and optimised DC layouts across three sites – Kiskenai, Dovilai, and Smelte. These projects mark a significant milestone in Lithuania’s renewable energy development, providing clean power to over 100,000 households annually.
This recognition highlights Detra Solar’s continued focus on technical precision, design innovation, and collaboration in large-scale solar and storage projects across Europe.
